About Tesserae
Tesserae is an LA-based
period instrument ensemble
specializing in historically-informed
performances of music from the
16th, 17th, and 18th centuries.
Formed in 2010, Tesserae explores
some of the most beautiful repertoire
of the Renaissance and Baroque,
from intimate chamber music
to large-scale orchestral works.
